The Balancing Act

How do you manage a full time job, a family, sports, time for yourself? Whether you have a family or not, we all suffer from there not being enough hours in the day. How do we manage our time and live life the way we want to live it?

I wish I had the answer to this million dollar question. My own experience is evolving and I want to share with you what I have learnt so far.

The faster I go the less I achieve. Therefore I have been cutting out activities that do not satisfy me and people that are energy vampires.
The good news is that I am achieving more. I have come to the conclusion that the only way to achieve lasting peace, less anxiety is to practice meditation.

I am by no means a master and only at the beginning of my journey but I invite you all to consider meditation. You might think that you are incapable of meditation but consider this. When you brush your teeth in the morning, be present. Concentrate on the sensation of brushing your teeth. Don’t let your mind think about the day ahead, the day before. Just live in the moment.
It sounds so simple yet try it and let me know how it goes.
